Adriano
Gobbin began his musical studies at a not very young
age and took his diploma in 1981 at the “A. Pedrollo”
State Conservatory in Vicenza under the tutorship of Master
Vincenzo Caroli.
After a period during which he studied in depth the repertoire
for flute and orchestra with Master Pasquale -
Rispoli, he was admitted in 1983 to the Chigiana Academy in
Siena. Here he studied with Severino Gazzelloni and was awarded
a diploma with merit. During the same period he cooperated
with Alain Meunier at the Academy in the class of contemporary
chamber music and followed the lessons in chamber music with
the violinist Franco Gulli.
Later
he studied in Switzerland with Conrad Klemm and in 1992 with
Maxance Larrieu.
He
performed in Italy and abroad (Europe, Middle East, South
America) with chamber groups that he founded and as a soloist.
He played with famous concert players and took part in both
several Festivals (Lanciano, Gardaland, Venice, etc.) and
radio and television broadcasts for which he received unanimous
acclaim from both the critics and the public.
On
many occasions he cooperated with modern composers playing
their first works. In the field of chamber music he won with
the “G. Briccialdi” Flute Quartet the first prize
at the International Competition of Stresa, Genova and Porcia,
and at the National Competition “Valle del Chienti”
(Macerata) they were best finalists.
In
1989 he performed in Cairo (Egypt) during the 11th program
of the international agreements between Italy and Egypt and
played for the Egyptian radio too.
He was invited to India and Australia and in 1992 he played
in Madrid and Seville during the Expo celebrations. Since
1989 play in duo with the pianist Aldo Fiorentin.
He
has been artistic director of many musical societies (among
them the “Veneto Flute Centre”) and for five years
he has been Solo Flautist and Vice President of the Stravinskij
Chamber Orchestra playing both as a soloist and as orchestral
in Italy and abroad.
He
was recently invited to the Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano
(Rome) to play for the Pope Benedetto XVI during the canonization
of Santa Maria Eugenia Milleret.
Since
1982 he has been teaching at the Musical Institute “Arcangelo
Corelli” at Vittorio Veneto.
In 1996, after a tour of concerts with the orchestra, he held
a master class in flute as guest teacher at USEK University
in Lebanon. He is now teaching flute at the “Marsilio
da Padova” school.
As
for his personality he is interested in counseling, yoga and
meditation, music therapy Tomatis method and the development
of human resources.
He
has been following for years the schools for personal growth
of S. Covey, D. Carnagie, Schwarz, Hilson and Anna Maria Palma
and has recently completed the 1st level of the technique
of personal growth ARKIDO.
Since
2004 he is a jury adjudicator of the International Competition
“Città di Padova”.
She
is currently collaborating with chamber music groups, in Duo
flute and harpsicord or piano and with the Saint Chaterine
Soloists.
